Crew Coordinator FAQ
Answers about Crew Coordinator pricing, crew scheduling, phone GPS timecards, equipment trackers, payroll exports, and the software trial.
What is Crew Coordinator?
Crew Coordinator is field-crew management software for contractors, construction companies, landscaping businesses, and other teams working across job sites. It brings crew scheduling, job information, equipment management, and crew-member communication together, with an optional Timekeeping & GPS add-on.
How much does Crew Coordinator cost?
The Core platform is $99 USD per month with an unlimited scheduling roster. The optional Timekeeping & GPS add-on is an additional $99 USD per month for up to 50 participating crew members, or $199 USD per month for 51–100. Contact support for larger timekeeping requirements. Tracker hardware, monitoring, and optional services are separate charges.
Is there a free trial?
Crew Coordinator offers a standard 14-day software trial. Paid tracker hardware and monitoring are separate from the software trial. Check signup and checkout for the current offer and selected services.
Can crew members see their schedules on a phone?
Yes. Crew members can use the mobile worker app on iOS and Android to view published schedules and the job information their account allows. Managers control when schedule changes are published.
Does updating a schedule notify everyone?
Schedule updates can notify only affected crew members, including people removed from an assignment. Schedule texts have a recipient confirmation screen and are tracked separately from app notifications. First publications and older schedules without saved comparison history may include a broader recipient list.
Does GPS timekeeping require an equipment tracker?
No. Crew-member GPS timekeeping uses the worker app and the Timekeeping & GPS add-on, subject to phone permissions and connectivity. Equipment and vehicle trackers are a separate service for locating supported assets.
Can I export timecards for payroll?
Yes. Timecard exports and reports support payroll preparation, and accounts can connect their own QuickBooks company for supported exports. Crew Coordinator does not replace your payroll provider or guarantee tax or labor-law compliance.
Which equipment trackers are available?
Crew Coordinator offers supported Teltonika trackers, including the FMM00A OBD vehicle tracker, FTM880 hardwired tracker, and TAT141 battery-powered asset tracker. Location reporting depends on the model, installation, power, coverage, and device configuration. See the tracker store for current hardware and monitoring prices.
Are GPS mileage reports certified for taxes or IFTA?
No. Vehicle-mileage reports use captured odometer evidence first and GPS estimates only where counter mileage is unavailable. They show uncertainty and unassigned mileage where needed. Review the underlying records with your accountant or jurisdiction before using a report for a filing.
